My name is Mike Venables. I've been a carpenter and joiner all my working life, and I have a passion for making traditional Welsh Stick Chairs.

I work with the highest grade locally sourced wood, and I use traditional methods for creating my chairs. My workshop is located in Cardiff, and you are welcome to come and see my work. Please contact me to arrange a visit - I have regular open days (see my news section for details), I'd also be happy to welcome you any time!

I also make bespoke kitchens and bespoke furniture, such as cabinets and book cases. These can be made to fit into any space, so do get in touch!
